The idea of going into transmission repair as a professional began in 1988 when the transmission in my dirt bike went bad. At the time I already had a small engine shop in the back corner of my dad’s garage. As word got out that I was fixing transmissions, the community began to call me for their mechanical breakdowns. When this was happening, I was all of 14 years old.
In 2000, I achieved the status of Master Transmission Builder and was the “Go To Guy” for competition transmission work. During this time I was part of a dominating circle track team. Building transmissions to compete at a high level of racing is a specialty of mine and proved it by building units that helped drivers take the checkered flag.
But in all the boasting about racing achievements, nothing has been more satisfying than fixing the vehicles that get families around. I love seeing vehicles with my work and transmissions getting families where they need to go. All while helping the average person get their vehicle fixed at a competitive price and in a timely manner.
